Carl is an acclaimed film director (Sometimes, Always, Never) with a strong commitment to developing local talent in film, media and music. With many years in the creative and training industries, he became a BAFTA member in 2023 and has an extensive portfolio working with Hat Trick Productions, Universal and Channel 4.

Roz is a documentary filmmaker (Kitty & Her Accordion) and podcast producer (The Lonely Arts Club). She specialises in amplifying underrepresented voices and recent collaborations include working with Groundworks Trust, Northern Heart Films, Santander Foundation and Media Trust.
karen appleton
Karen has over 20 years’ experience in film and television production, working with companies including LA Productions, Hurricane Films, SCAPE Films and Pathway Studios. She also brings expertise in working with community groups, cultural organisations, education providers and local government.
martin mcquillan
Martin has 20+ years experience in public storytelling, academic media and cultural strategy, and is an accomplished film producer (Moments with Mujica, Hamlet Within). His films have been showcased at Cannes, Berlin, Locarno, Buenos Aires and on Amazon Prime.
